Пояснительная записка.

Данную тему для открытого урока, выбрала для того, чтобы ещё раз вернуться к глобальной теме всего человечества: охране окружающей среды. Готовясь к уроку, просмотрела материал по данной теме в учебнике географии, биологии, убедилась, что учащиеся имеют определённые знания по теме, единственное что осталось сделать мне – расширить лексический материал, заинтересовать учащихся, вовлечь в мировую проблему, зажечь учащихся идеей: «Сохранить нашу планету голубой и зелёной».

На уроке использовала знания учащихся, полученные на других предметах. Рассматривали проблему экологии в Республике Казахстан , намечали пути решения. Учащиеся подготовили презентации о проблемах экологии. Особый эффект уроку предал девиз: « Мир вокруг нас прекрасен! Защити его!» и стихотворение, написанное ученицей 11 класса на русском и английском языках Савиновой Галиной. На уроке осуществлялись межпредметные связи с географией, биологией, химией, историей. Учащиеся смогли своими знаниями, презентациями, проектами составить настоящую конференцию по изученной теме. Самое главное, я считаю, в своем уроке то, что учащиеся успешно использовали знания английского языка в речевой практике.

Theme of the lesson:

«The world is wonderful. Let s protect it».

Aim and objectives- to revise new vocabulary on the topic of environment, to enrich the pupils knowledge with new facts, to improve the pupils English using useful words and expressions, to make the pupils learn how to solve the problems locally and globally.

Equipment: cards, pictures, slogans, posters, presentation, film.

Methods: oral, visual, wordy.

Teacher: We are going to discuss the problem of ecology in the world and in our country Kazakhstan. By the way, what is ecology? according to the Oxford Dictionary Ecology is the relation of plants and living creatures to each other and to the environment. The environment, as it is known, is all living and non-living things that surround us. They are animals and birds, woods and forests, air and water, land and atmosphere. National resources such as minerals, oil, wood lands and water are widely used for purpose of home industry and agriculture. As a result the use of national resources upsets the biological balance, pollutes air, water and soil. The people have faced the problem of the pollution of environment. We old should try to do our best in order to make air forest and soil cleaner than before. It concerns everyone who lives in our country. We know that the policy of our state in environment protection is to control air and water pollution but at the same time we think that it can notbe done without everyone's hel.Today we want to raise some ecological problems. Today we meetat this conference to raise the ecology problem of Kazakhstan and we ll try to solve the problem.And l think that you will take an active part in our conference. You are welcome….

1pupil Once a man lived in a greater harmony with nature.Our planet was more beautiful,and cleaner than today. The air was fresh,the water was drinkable, the land wasn t so polluted Today the situation is quite different. Because of developing industry and growth of civilization the ecological problem is at a crucial point.

2pupil In our country over 30 thousand tons of garbage is produced every year. The 5 per cent is burnt and the rest is put in landfills. Today we don t recycle them and finding land for new is becoming more and difficult.

3 pupil. Pollution deprives people of fresh air, clean water and healthy food. The examples are numerous one of them is the Aral Sea problem. The water of the Aral Sea is polluted and it became muchlees than some years ago. And the salt which lies on the depth of a sea is steamed and some hurtful staffs in harm to man s health.

4.THE flora and fauna of Kazakhstan are very rich. But there are some animals and plants that may disappear. The International Union for the Conversation of the Nature and World conversation Union have issued the Red Book it Has rare endangered threatened species of plants and animal in it.

5 Noise is another problem of the human race. The streets are crowded with traffic.

6 All living and nonliving things in our world are connected with each other .For example if the water is polluted animals and human-beings can die. If the animals disappear the nature balance will be destroyed If the birds disappear there will be more and more insects.

7 We must think about our future, ourgeneration People must awake and remember that we are the part of the nature. All the things around us are our family our past our present and our future.

EnvironmentalPollution

People have always polluted their surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a serious problem. In past most people lived in uncrowded rural areas and didn’t have pollution-causing machines. But with the development of crowded industrial cities the problem of pollution has become more important. Using automobiles and other machines made pollution steadily worse. Since the 1950’s people have become alarmed with the danger of environmental pollution.

Air, water, and soil are necessary for existence of all living things. But polluted air can cause illness, and even death. Polluted water kills fish and other marine life. On polluted soil, food products can’t be grown. In addition environmental pollution spoils the natural beauty of our planet.

Pollution is a very complicated and a serious problem. Automobiles are polluting the air but they provide fast transportation for the people. Plants and factories pollute the air and the water but they provide jobs for people and produce necessary goods. Fertilizers and pesticides are important for growing crops but they pollute soil.

Thus, people would have to stop using many useful things if they wanted to end pollution immediately. Most people don’t agree to do that. But pollution can be reduced gradually. Scientists and engineers can find the ways to reduce pollution from automobiles and factories. Government can pass the laws that would make enterprises take measures for reducing of pollution. Individuals and groups of people can work together to persuade enterprises to stop polluting environment.

Загрязнение окружающей среды

Люди всегда загрязняли окружающую среду. Но до последнего времени загрязнение не было такой серьезной проблемой. В прошлом большинство людей проживали в малонаселенных сельских районах, и у них не было загрязняющих природу машин. Но с развитием перенаселенных индустриальных городов проблема загрязнения стала намного серьезнее. Использование автомобилей и других машин и механизмов привело к тому, что окружающая среда стала постоянно и интенсивно загрязняться. С 50-х годов прошлого столетия люди стали ощущать тревогу в связи с опасностью загрязнения окружающей среды.

Воздух, вода и почва необходимы для существования всех живых существ. Но загрязненный воздух может стать причиной болезни и даже смерти. Загрязненная вода приводит к гибели рыб и других существ, обитающих в море. На загрязненной почве нельзя выращивать пищевые продукты. Кроме того, загрязнение окружающей среды портит естественную красоту нашей планеты.

Загрязнение — это очень сложная и серьезная проблема. Автомобили загрязняют воздух, но они служат для быстрого перемещения людей. Заводы и фабрики загрязняют воздух и воду, но они обеспечивают рабочие места для людей и позволяют производить необходимые товары. Удобрения и пестициды необходимы для выращивания сельскохозяйственных культур, но они загрязняют почву.

Поэтому людям пришлось бы перестать использовать многие полезные вещи, если бы они захотели немедленно прекратить загрязнение окружающей среды. Однако большинство людей не согласятся на это. Но загрязнение можно уменьшить постепенно. Ученые и инженеры могут найти способы уменьшить загрязнение от автомобилей, заводов и фабрик. Правительство может издать законы, которые бы заставили предприятия принять меры по уменьшению загрязнения. Отдельные люди и группы людей могут сотрудничать в деле охраны окружающей среды.
